ISO 9001 IN EDUCATION

  • According to this survey, in the Americas a good performance is perceived, for example, in Mexico the education sector represents 33.22% of the total number of certifications issued (12,419).

Globally, it is perceived that there is greater participation of the education sector in the ISO 9001:2015 standard in countries of the American continent than in European countries, which reflects the enthusiasm and commitment of educational organizations to provide quality education that contributes beneficially to the country.

These data are variable due to the different behavior of the various industries or economic sectors in each country. There are also factors such as politics that can influence the percentage of educational institutions that are certified, since in some cases they are given a larger budget to obtain this type of certification or even on special occasions it is requested on a mandatory basis.
